We are still looking up towards the eastern elevation of the Royal
Albert Hall and please do take the time to admire the intricate masonry
work. Look at the cluster of columns in the picture above. Take a long
hard look at the window flanked by two columns and then conjoined by a
stone arch with a keystone.
The Balustrade is rather impressive not least because of the stone/art work beneath, on the underside of the balcony.
Pictures paint a thousand words and our second picture (below/left) on this instalment of the area surrounding the Royal Albert Hall shows a statue/monument in the distant and blocks of flats/apartments flanking this cathedral to live music/performance. We will take a closer look at the upper part of the building and the beautiful artwork that adorns the hall in the next post.

We walk on towards the statue/monument and a very famous set of stairs.
